One year after the terrorist attacks of November 13, 2015, distinctive commemorations were organized « where it happened », in several places between the 10th and 11th districts of Paris. On this anniversary, what does the ethnographic observation of these remembrance sites teach us on the social memory of the attacks? Following Maurice Halbwachs’ pioneer work defining a topography of the gospels in the Holy Land, this article is a first attempt towards a topography of the memory of these attacks.

Key words: memory, commemoration, november 13, Paris attacks, politization, site of memory.
