Mak Remissa is the most talented Cambodian news photographer of his generation and an artist who writes poetry with images. When required, he covers events taking place in Tuol Sleng, such as ceremonies and visits of international representatives, but his inspiration regarding Democratic Kampuchea lies in his own experience and emotions, and the memory of his family.
